It's a kind of bamboo wind instrument on which you make a change in pitch by moving one part of it forward or backward(like a trombone)

・It’s made of a stick of bamboo which is dug without the root lost.
・The part of the root and of around the center of bamboo are manufactured as long as one’s arm. By pruning the latter part as straight as possible and pruning the inside of the former part to insert it into the latter part, it can be moved forward and backward.
・By manufacturing what is left after hollowing bamboo, an embouchure can be made.
・All the bamboo is japanned evenly in the final step. Some of them are lacquered in gold or silver.

It's an instrument which you put on like shoes and is made of bamboo. you equip the instrument with eight bamboo cylinders different in length around each of your feet,and make sound by stepping(like tap dance).

・You put your both feet on boards.
・Four holes are made on each board. You insert bamboo cylinders different in length into these holes and make sound by stepping, like tap-dancing.
・You can make various pitches by changing all bamboo cylinders and inserting those very different in length.
