the background of "Seigo-on"
One day, there happened to be a stick of bamboo in my garden.
Some time after I looked at it absently, I noticed the bamboo joint at the end of it was similar to an embouchure of a trombone. (I thought so perhaps because I had been playing the trombone since I had joined a brass band club in junior high school.)
I picked it up, made a small hole in the center of the bamboo joint at the end, and removed the other joints and hollowed out the inside of the bamboo. When I blew into the small hole so carefully, it made a husky sound that was beyond all description.
If the length of the bamboo changes, pitch also could change, so I guessed I could make a trombone-like instrument from bamboo.
the background of "Takep Shoes"
One day, when I carried some sticks of bamboo at once, one of them happened to fall from my arms to the ground. And at that moment, sharp, clear sound echoed throughout around me.
It’s just like a “Shishi-odoshi”, a device designed for making noise and comprised of a bamboo pipe and running water, called water sprout in English.
At that time, I noticed that when I beat bamboo cylinders different in length on the ground, I made a various kind of pitch. And at the result of trial and error many times, equipping them around my feet, I succeeded in making sound by stepping in the same way as how I use “Takep Shoes”.

One day, while stepping in various rhythms with “Takep Shoes” on, I was playing “Seigo-on” improvisatorially.
And then, some magical music was born.
I represent throughout my body feelings of human beings or emotions in such a style.
